Replace antenna mast 700 1987

Hi Jerryc sorry to bother you again. I can"t get that sucker out,I mean the sleeve. I sprayed WD 40, carb cleaner on it to see if I could get some of the gunk that is keeping stuck and nothing . I even drilled a small hole on the antenna section that is still there,inserted a piece of wire on the hole and pullled,pulled....sleeve doesnt move. I have a question now: If I remove the entire assembly from the car is it possible to separate the motor part from the tube where the antenna goes? If so maybe then I can push out the sleeve and section of antenna ...
