re: 87 245 auto - noise coming from the passenger side 200 1987

Hi all,

This sound comes and goes for about two weeks now. It's more loud when I make turns after a long drive. Then, it goes away for few days and come back again. It's not high pitch but it's constant like metal screeching sound...

If this is bad bearing symptom, I expect to have constant screeching sound. No? I will take a look at the brake pads/rotor over the weekend.

One more question, do I need a "brass" punch to remove those inner and outer races?

Thank you as always.
