Shocking 245 200

Hello,

My newly acquired 1992 ABS-equipped non-turbo 240 wagon needs new shocks. From Brickboard I have learned that for the front shocks, Bilstein HD cartridges will not work due to interference with the strut tube.

One option would be to fit Bilstein Touring Class shocks in the front (these will fit), and still use HD Bilstiens for the rear. I do like the ride quality of the HD Bilsteins on a variety of cars.

Alternatively, would I be better off with Koni's of the same caliber all the way around for the 240 wagon?

I personally think mixing the Bilsteins models might not be the best idea....

Any comments would be appreciated.

William
