Thanks for the responses. Let me try to be more clear. I am referring to the OUTSIDE of the door. The glass squeegee assembly at the bottom of the door is indeed metal and rubber and is black on my car as it is a turbo. The rest of the door frame around the glass is black on my car too. On some 240s, the rest of the door frame around the glass would have been paint or chrome, but mine is black. What made it black? The black trim appears to have no way to get it off the door frame. Was it a one-time use item such as tape?
