Cap off 5th injector (cold start) from fuel rail? 200

yes, it will. Do make sure it comes with the later style clips for the injector/rail connection, as the early style clips will not work on the later style rail.

If you've never opened the fuel rail before, be careful. Spray connection with PB blaster the night before, put a rag under the joint before you go to open it, and use good quality flare wrenches on the fittings. The rail is soft brass and it will bend quite easily, so you absolutely MUST use two wrenches (one to turn, one as counterhold).

I did this to my 1989 when I wanted to get rid of the CSV plumbing, as the ECU was a later version and didn't use it. I too suspected it was leaking and causing rich running and misfire on cold starts, and having explored all the other possibilities figured it was worth a shot. Made no difference. And if you search here, you'll find others with LH2.4 cars that all have the same symptoms with no solution.
