Differences between B16 122s and later models? 120-130 1959

Greetings all.

I'm going to go check out a '59 122, but I don't know much about these early b16 cars.

I've had a '66 130 (2 door) for a number of years and am very familar with the later 122s. That said, I know there are a number of differences between the early and later cars, and I'm not sure what they are, and what I should look for.

Is the transmission tunnel on these early cars big enough to accept a m-41 transmission?

How hard is it to convert the front brakes to a disc setup from a later car?

Anything else I should keep an eye open for?

And finally, if one wanted to swap in a b-20 / m-41 combo, what extra steps might be involved? (I know a conversion to 12 volts is a must for that engine swap.)

Thanks as always!
