FWIW

those copper washers that are used with fuel filter and the fuel pump connections are very "crushable" they are very different from the copper washers that are not meant for this particular sealing purpose.

For instance, if you buy a fuel filter ...like one made by Wix...they come with a set those washers as part of the package.

With K-Jet FI system, where the pressure is much higher that later LH systems, the proper washers are even more crucial.

If you just need the washers, I have had success in getting them from an Independent shop that works on Volvos/BMW/Mercedes. You need to get the washers used in high pressure FI systems.
