getting main fuel pump line to not leak

Hello again Heck,

My car was doing exactly what yours was, leaking between the check valve [thanks for the correction] and the pump body.

I bought some original Volvo copper washers from the local outlet and have now had my mechanic friend install them [right now I am not trusting my own abilities at anything mechanical].

I hope to put the whole thing back together today sometime and will report back what happened.

So . . . I take it that the round thing sitting beside the pump is in fact an accumulator and not a check valve. Just trying to get my word glossary right.

Thanks for your valuable input.
