Alternator Belt Question 900 1992

What is the correct orientation of the drive belts on a 92 940 Turbo with electric fan?

When I did my head gasket last year I just ran one belt from the main pulley over to the alternator as my AC wasn't working. However, that belt seems to be fraying itself against the next belt in on the main pulley.

Should one belt go to one of the two pulleys on the AC compressor and then one from it up to the alternator? Also what belt sizes are needed? All help appreciated.
