Please walk me thru intake manifold gasket replacement 200

1990 240, original intake manifold gasket. Idle a bit uneven.
I've read thru some old posts, but not much in the way of specifics. Perhaps it is easy, but I have not done one so I have been studying it. I'll plan to remove the easy stuff--air intake boot, throttle body, vacuum lines, etc...
Looks like fuel lines and fuel rail can stay connected, brake booster line stay connected. The EGR steel line has to be disconnected, but I recently serviced that and the antiseize should make this easy. Looks like I can flip the manifold over onto the left strut housing. But, looks like to me that the accelerator and kick-down cables should be discontinued from the throttle wheel thingy and then the bracket that holds these cables taken off the intake manifold but leaving the cables in place. I counted 8 nuts, 13 mm. I'll spray with penetrating oil.
I wasn't sure about the accelerator and kick-down cables and wanted some help. Thanks.
