Like many of us with the 544's, I am contemplating replacing the dashboard. As I look at it, I was wondering if the "L" brackets on the underside have much to do with an easy removal and replacement. I have a few other "under dash" projects that would certainly be easier to accomplish........not to mention it would save me from hiring a contortionist to twist and bend to get at the things I want to inspect and repair.
Any helpful tips and tricks from the gang?
