Autozone has internally regulated alt! 120-130

Hello All,

I went down to Autozone to puck up a cheap delco alt, and of course the parts guys says- you only own Volvo... I tell him it's true, so sell me the part.
He says warranty is not valid unless it is used for the right application.
He goes on and tells me he sold a 70 amp Bosch alt to a guy with an old Volvo yesterday.

Turns out Autozone has internally regulated alt for a 75 240!

The car had a b20 in it just like mine.... why have I not heard of this before?
This seems like the most straightforward alt upgrade; or am I missing something?

Give me a clue here folks,
