2-3-1.... 700 1990

I assume you are talking about the in-tank pump? Is there any way to definitively test my current fuel pump? It makes noise before I start the engine, and I heard it running when the car still ran.

What brand should I buy? Any brands to stay away from?

I see autozone has Airtex and O'Reilly has BesTest, but they both have Delphi available if you order it.

I'm just asking this because I replaced the fuel pump in my 1997 suburban, and everyone said to buy one from the dealership because the aftermarket pumps fail more quickly.

What symptoms did your car have that made you decide to replace the fuel pump?

Thanks,
Ben
