M41 Sticking 140-160

74 142 GL with J-type OD (fresh 30W oil in tranny)

It seems that while the car is still cold, transfer in and out of OD is fine. However, when the car warms up a little bit, the OD seems to 'stick'...meaning if I'm in OD and turn it off via the column lever, the tranny does not come out of OD. This causes gears 1 thru 3 to kinda stutter and shake as you change gears as if the OD wants to engage in these gears too. And when I shift into 4th, the OD is fully engaged (even though lever and indicator light are off)

After the cars sits awhile, it behaves as normal again.

Any ideas?
