fuel pump problem/relay 900 1995

the car- 95 non turbo wagon-- runs fine when cold- as it warms up the engine starts to run uneven. It will die at times. but as you rev it up, there is a clicking at the fuse panel, removed the covers and its the short blue relay clicking-fuel pump relay== as that happens, the tach goes kinda nuts and it starts missing above 3000 rpm ( in neutral)

so is the pump suspect, wiring or relay? The relay is not hot at all.

Just got it running pretty good after a long, long battle with intake gasket.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
