Ouch.

Have you pulled it apart to confirm the block is damaged? As in, might you be able to get away with just a cyl head or maybe just a valve or two?

Of course, I can certainly picture holes in a piston, scored cylinder wall.. etc.

What kind of air filters? I can't see how hardware from regular SUs could get in there... maybe if hte bolt fell out and that tube spacer inside the filter that goes around the bolt could end up in there.

Just curious. Wish you were closer (actually, wish I could use this as an excuse to go to OR), I'd help you out. But.. any spare motors from me would be builders anyhow..

Good luck with it... would love to see pics of the damage..
