Headlights not working correctly 200 1991

For a while, I have only had low beams. When I would pull back on the stalk, the blue high beam indicator on the cluster would come on, and I would have no lights either side. Last night I discovered my right side bulb had gone out so I pulled into Autozone and picked up a bulb.

It gets weirder here. After installing the bulb, I noticed the high beam indicator was on. And it would not go off in either mode. I'd pull back at the stalk, and have one high beam, left side only (I had just replaced the right). Pull back again, and have both sides, but both so dim that I couldn't drive with it that way. Again with the instrument cluster light staying on continuously. I made it home with the one left side high beam.

Obviously, I want to deal with this gremlin today. Thoughts from any of you guys on this?

Thanks always - Jim
