cleaned throttle body--now high idle 200 1983

Sitting drinking some coffee, I saw the dishes needed to be washed. Got up and decided to work on the volvo. I cleaned the throttle body with a rag and carb cleaner according to bentley manual. Now my Idle is high. I took the throttle body off and gave it a good cleaning with throttle body cleaner, thinking some crud was stuck. Checked the 7xx/9xx FAQ.
this is a '83 non turbo 2.0 LH. Got a wire, grounded it and connected to the blue/white wire as stated. Turned what i think is the base idle knob..nothing happened when i turn it either way. i did not see any hoses loose/broken.
I am wondering if the base idle knob is missing a screw in the center. the black knob on the bottom of the throttle body.
Thanks
