stuck driver's side electric seat 900 1993

The driver's side electric seat is stuck in the forward position. I moved it forward to vacuum the rear carpet and now it will not move backward. It will not move further forward or back at all. I can hear and feel the motor want to start but I really don't think its turning. It sort of clicks. The seat will move up and down and the seat back will tilt.

Is there a way to disengage the electric drive and move the seat manually or is there a way to remove the front seat cushion so I can get a good view of the rails etc. and see if something is lodged in the mechanism. Maybe a coin or a paper clip. That kind of thing. Thanks for all suggestions.
