700/900 Cupholder Removal (Padded Console Cover) 900

Dear Fellow Brickboarders,

Hope you're well. I seek detailed guidance as to how to remove a broken cup-holder from a front center console cover.

The front-facing cup-holder is broken and needs to be removed. The cup-holder facing the rear seats is in fine shape.

Please let me know:
(a) which type of tool or tools should be used
(b) the specific as to the tools (size, length, etc.)
(c) where the tool should be inserted (center of broken cup-holder, etc.)
(d) in which direction(s) the tool should be moved to release the broken part
(e) any other relevant details.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yours faithfully,

Spook
