Internitent spark 120-130

I am back poking at the Amazon engine. For a re-cap, I rebuilt a B20 using a B20e head for higher compression. It has never run just right, so I got to wondering if I properly matched the timing marks. This weekend I looked and they were fine. I warmed up the engine to set the timing and discovered that I have an intermittant spark on #1. I swapped around the wires with no change. Looked at the new distributor cap and that seemed ok. All of the other cylinders seem to be firinig just fine. So, do I proceed to another new cap? Oh! I am running a Pertronix too... Any thoughts?

Another factoid - the SUH6 carbs came off a B18, could this be a needle issue?

Thanks,

Kent
