Let me try again (I can't quite get the BB to work - my problem!)

I can't figure out how to remove the top tail light from my 1995 T wagon.

As the photo shows, there is a flat plastic cover instead of a knob to unscrew.
There is a slit for a screwdriver, which I tried twisting and pushing... didn't work.

I don't want to break the plastic. Thanks for any clues how to get the light bulb out!

(By the way the manual calls these the 'fog lights'.
