not the last gemo question. sorry my bad 200

hi sages- i know this will put me on the s list but what the hell - always been a risk taker. have great curiosity why from an engineering standpoint one part is better than another which is viewed as stinko. word here is most /all non gemo clutch cables are bad because they soon bust, bind or crack holes in the firewall and that gemo is the only salvation. got under the 92 240 to closely inspect the cable which appears to be a gemo which i compared to the gemo picture on ebay. while mine is still working , it looks like its been there a long time. i have two new ones, a pioneer and a prof parts from sweden which im told is an undesireable scan tech copy.cant get through to ebay vendors who offer a gemo. the two new ones plus the beck arnly in the parts ads on the net, look the same, black plastic cover over the length of the sheath which looks like a pay telephone handset cable, black or clear vinyl coating on the internal wire and an adjuster bolt at the clutch fork end which moves the fork end 1-2 inches forward or away from the fork. contrasting this to the old gemo in the ad pictures and my 240, i notice the length is exactly in spec at 42.5 inches, the telephone like sheath is not covered and most notably the adjuster end nut moves the cable sheath itself to or away from the fork. this appears to be the major difference from the gemo and non gemo models. for those of you who are engineering fans, am i right on or heading down a dead end on bacco road in md. thanks tons oldduke
