145 Brake Bleeding Issues 140-160

Just realized I never followed up on this thread. The caliper halves were indeed mismatched on BOTH rebuilt calipers. The shop I bought them from couldn't get any more, so they sent them out to Gold Line Brakes here in Seattle, who had them back to me the next day with the halves matched correctly, new bleeders, 3 replaced pistons (that Cardone hadn't bothered with), and fancy gold paint that supposedly doesn't get eaten by brake fluid. Mounted them up, had another go-round with the power bleeder, and presto! Brakes! It's a wonderful thing.

Thanks again for all the suggestions. Again, can't believe I didn't spot all the many caliper mismatch threads already existing here.

The 145 is now mobile with all new brake and suspension bits.
