Two things: 5w-30 oil in 240. Best sealer for #1 and 5 cam bearing cap.

Greetings board.
1.Ive been running 10w 40 in my 90 brick for a good while. Last oil change I switched to 10w 30. 2days ago I switched to 5w 30. Now my engine sounds louder to me, as in valve train noise. Am I hearing things, or can weight change cause this? Im in sacramento, ca (temp currently in the 30F to 50F range. Engine is at approx 206000mi. Using Castrol GTX and mann filters.

2. I'll be pulling cam shaft from the 91 brick soon for valve train inspection. Just need to know the proper sealer to use on end cam bearing. Im also hoping it will be self evident as to exactly where to put this sealer when I get in there. Comments please.

Thanks all. And seasons greetings.
