The lens in the front and back of my '64 544 all need to be replaced.

I just dug into one of the front ones, and the rubber is so hard it was impossible to reinstall the old lens and chrome trim piece.

Looking online, it appears there are several different lens-types available, with a wide variety of price ranges as well.

For the front, I'm curious what you think about the difference between clear and amber lens. Which combo (between clear lens with amber lights VS. Amber lens with clear lights) is brighter?

Any thoughts on "split" rear lenses that are amber on the top and red on the bottom?

And finally, what is your favorite source for lens? (I need the rubber for the fronts as well.)
