B-20 crankcase breather 444-544

Hey to all and Merry Christmas, I have a B-20 in my 63 544 and the hose from the crankcase breather on the side of the engine block is going to the intake while the hose from the filler cap in the valve cover is going to the air cleaner on the Weber DGV and Cannon intake set up. My question is should I have an orifice in the hose fitting at the manifold? The engine has not been fired up yet so I cant give any info on how it runs. Thanks for any help. Keep Christ in Christmas! God Bless. Larry
