Hi Folks,

This code came up after checking for a sudden loss of power and dashboard going dead (with the headlamps on) and car going limp. . . .
2 minutes later the car started right back up and dash lites back on- everything ok-?

The actual code is for the "Knock sensor signal faulty or absent".

Question here is whether the two are related or just coincidental?

Not really my car anymore (yes it is )but my girlfriend had this and her mechanic didn't know how to check the red light bulb flashes for code faults.

Speaking of which, my car has an extra plastic diagnostic brain box from normal(?):
Any help appreciated
