the problem with running Snows year round is that the rubber componets are designed to work better in icy and/or snowy conditions...and they wear out faster than the "normal" composites.
if you drive them YearRound the tread will wear faster than normal and the Grip in rainy/wet roads will be compromised.
I spun-out with my Mom in the car with ( more scarey---though she laughed) for ME than Her...Kill your mother...leaving the snows on too long.
so If you are driving with snows on the car and it's warm and raining...and don't have your Mother as a passenger. Not a big deal
