Replaced Alternator 200 1989

Today I replaced my old alternator with a rebuilt from FCP Euro.
It turns out that I needed the pulley and fan assembly from the old one,
which I did not know at the time.

When I removed the old alternator, I had trouble loosening the old pulley
and I broke a few of the blades/fins on the fan assembly. I finally installed
the rebuilt in the car, and it seems to be working fine.

Question is: Will the new alternator overheat since not all the blades/fins
are in place? Thanks for any insights.
