AW-70 Auto Transmission 200 1992

Greetings, all--

I need to replace the AW-70 Auto transmission in my daughter's 92 240. There are a number of them available within driving distance, but all are noted as having no notch for the crank position sensor, even those supposedly removed from or still installed in 92's. To my knowledge, all the 240's of this vintage are equipped with the crank position sensor. Can anyone with a larger brain than mine clarify this?

Thanks,
Steve Passmore
