Does anyone have a step by step idea of how to remove the starter on the /89 240DL 4 door stick shift? It sounds so involved on some of the web sites and we really need the right info. to remove it. We will have to take it somewhere I imagine to check it out to make sure that is what it is. Had one starter replacement about 30,000k ago. That was in 2001. It was an actual Volvo part but that is all we got out of it.
