Ok you guys I know you are not messing with me but I will play in the sandbox with ya!

I just wanted to advise him that he did not have to go out and get all sophisticated as most of us are!
Those goodies are nice to have in your tool box but what if you are not so blessed or are out on the road without. I improvise!

If I want to know which way the wind is blowing I wet my finger and hold it up. I need to know how much it has rained I can use a straight sided bucket and stand an American quarter dollar coin up on its edge.
That's an inch high, not a quarter inch of rain by the way! (:-)

If I got to close a relay to make a circuit work, I use a shoestring.

I was being helpful and I bet you guys have just as many things you have done to get home on or improvise a work around that I have never thought of!

We all know that most of our wisdom has come from having to think, as they say, " out of the box."

My stuff, is not always sold in a box store, either, I am proud to say!
