Fuel pp for side drafts

If in doubt, measure the fuel pressure.

Some of the cheaper mechanical fuel pumps will put out more than 4 psi. I have measured as high as 7 psi. For those pumps, we install a Holly regulator.

I recently installed a fuel pump being sold by PPS, ScanTechs successor, for the 1st time.

I did so reluctantly as I have been leery of what is being sold, so I took the time to do a dead head fuel pressure test and was pleasantly surprised to get a steady 4 psi.
