Volvo scissors jacks flopping 200

Three out of four of the orig equipment scissors jacks, stock item w each 240 and 740 that I own, have failed. They no longer lift straight up, but give in to tilting inward or outward as I crank them up. This lessens the height they can lift, and it seems dangerous in that the load on the jack could kick it out of a secure lifting angle. Has there been a recall or Service/Repair Bulletin on these jacks? Is there a fix that I can do which will be effective and long term reliable?
