Crack in CAT output pipe - inexpensive options for fixing 200

I have a crack in the output pipe of the Catalytic Converter. Its cracked right where the 1st muffler clamps on. I've uploaded a sketch to the "Cars" gallery.
Any fix ideas?
Clamp a sleeve over it?
Cut it out and weld in a new piece?
Replace the CAT?
