Wiper Motor 88 245 Dying or just pretending to die? 200 1988

Hi,

I'm looking for advice on my 88 Volvo 245 wagon. Wiper motor (from FCP Groton, 3 or 4 years old aftermarket, not OEM) seems to be dying. It still works on the fast speed', but is not doing anything on either intermittent or slow speed. No noise, nothing.

So is that symptomatic of a dying motor? Or is there anything I can troubleshoot before I look into replacing it? I usually by OEM parts but it was something like 100 vs 400 for a volvo motor so I went cheap figuring it would take my chances.

Thanks much,
Chet
