1974 164E Instrument Cluster Mystery Light 140-160

I took my instrument cluster out this weekend to count the teeth on the odometer gear and check the metal gear. The odometer gear has a hairline crack in it and the metal gear is loose on the shaft.
I wanted to replace some instrument lights while I had the cluster out. I noticed two bulb locations below the temp / fuel gauges. They have never lit before so I shined a flashlight through the lenses to identify their function.
The left (green) one OD is for cars with overdrives but the second is not mentioned in my manual and has never lit. The gels are sort of warped after all these years but I think it has the letters CH and no others that I can see. Anyone know what it is for?
I have been collecting parts for a M410 swap from BW35. I wanted to have a column mounted overdrive switch and now I find there is an indicator light already in my non-overdrive car! Hell, it even had a bulb in that location! Does anyone know what the wiring for the column mounted overdrive to instrument cluster looks like?
