Hello pastorbud, this a 9 year old post...:)

As I mentioned in my old post, you can swap them. It would be a good idea to swap, at a minimum, the foam (normally better in a passenger seat) and the seat covers.

Better yet, you could choose to do a full rebuild. Check Tony's pages for a good tutorial. That is more or less the procedure I followed.
