1973 140 and 164 tacho - any differences? 140-160

I've gotten hold of a tacho from a 1973 164E which I'm hoping to install in my carb-engined 1974 142. The only difference I can see between the 4 cyl and 6 cyl tachos is they have different red lines indicated on the dial face (and that they have different part numbers, of course).

Aside from that, are there any electrical differences between them that make one using a B30E tach in a B20 a bad idea?
