1973 140 and 164 tacho - any differences? 140-160

Thanks Dave; that resistor must make all the difference. Without a circuit diagram, I'm not about to go modifying the one I have, so maybe I see about swapping it for a 4 cylinder one.

JFTR, the Volvo part numbers for 1973/4/5 model tachometers are -

* for 140 B20 and 240 B21/B23
283546-0 (supercedes 282772)
VDO 802071100

* for 164 B30
282773-1 (up to chassis #132566 - ie 1974)
1214676-7 (from #132567 on - ie 1975)

* for 260 B27
283547-8 (alt 1) and 1215406-8 (alt 2)

There's been an ad on eBay recently for a NOS 282773 stating it's suitable for a 140, but now we all know better now. ;)
