I must have fried something using wrong fuse. Radio broke 900 1994

Ok ok I admit to being stupid here. A couple years ago, out of desperation, I popped a 30 amp fuse into #26 which should have been a 15 to get the radio working.

Well ....

I must have fried something. The radio turns on but only a very trickle of volume comes out the speakers (at highest volume setting).

I have replaced the radio and amplifier and checked all the fuses. No change. I discovered the "trickle" of sound happens regardless of whether the amplifier is actually plugged in.

1) What did I fry and where do I being to look?
2) Does anyone know of a radio wiring diagram?

Help!

Andy
