Removing driver's side window 444-544

Howdy!

I've been dealing with a derailed driver's side window for years. Everything it jumps off, I the chain back on, and crank it very slowly, but the last time that happened to me, I promised to myself I would fix it right.

Well, it happened again last night.

I ordered a perfectly fine used window regulator from Swedish Treasures(the wheel that moves the chain), a new window channel (the metal that holds the window in place), new window channel guides, and new fuzzies. I'm now trying to get the window out, and I'm unsure on how that would work. It seems like the very least I have to do is pry the glass out channel, which would mean I can't install it into the new channel outside, but it would all have to happen inside the door?

It also implies removing the pop-out window as a complete unit.

Any insight on how to proceed?

Thanks,

Bernard
