How many posts are on this board alone that contain "the car just shut off" from fuel pump relays, CPS, timing belts, pick-up coils, whatever? Cars shut off all the time. Apparently the GM one is mostly from people who have key chains that are too heavy, and the key design allows enough leverage for the weight to rotate the cylinder.
1.6 million cars and 260 complaints? Do the math.
I wish heater fans failed at that rate instead of about 95%.
