Ignition switch S90-V90

I have a '98 V90 with about 155k on it. Lately I've had to turn the key back counter-clockwise slightly to get it to shift out of Park. Now the headlights won't come on unless I do the same thing. Are the two problems related and is the problem in the ignition switch as I suspect? If it is the switch is it difficult to get to and/or will I need specialist tools? I've owned a 240 for years now and have done almost all my own work but this is my first V90/960 project so I don't know how the two are the same and how they differ as far as working on one goes.
