In today's lesson, we learn that the ign key does not go into the ign. Well it did, after about 10 mins, and then when taken out it took another 5-10 min to get it in again, while getting some lube in there also. Now it is in with a rag covering it, as it's sitting on the street. Oh, of course this is the only key as the other was lost.

What happens as near as I can tell is that there is a little door or gate, which does seem to move, then the key will not proceed further, until after quite some time it has, twice. It's not at all clear why it suddenly went in. It seems to slide in smoothly once started, and turns fairly easily.
