Running problem 200 1992

I would be more suspicious of a jumped timing belt.

Does it has a lot of miles on it or was it just replaced like a year ago. It may have needed the tensioner reset for quite sometime.

The electronic system should allow a limp home mode. It will not run very nice and it will most likely get lousy mileage.

How full is the gas tank? Might be the in-tank fuel pump or even water in the gas.
