fuse blowing 200 1990

The fuse that manages the rear window defroster and overdrive keeps blowing on my wife's car. I notice that the light on the switch for the rear window froster spontaniously lights up at times. Switch? Any classic problems on this ciruit? Thanks in advance for any help
