head interchange 200 1986

I purchased a 1991 745 (Rex Regina) several years ago to save it from the scrap dealer. It had a bad transmission and a blown head gasket.

The head could not be saved. I had a turbo head/cam assembly from an 88 B230ft that I installed along with a transmission from a twin cam b234.

That must have been about 25,000 miles ago and it continues to be a great running car. While I do not see any advantage to having the turbo head/cam on a NA engine based on my experience I would not hesitate to do it again given the opportunity.
