Replace solid motor mounts with hydraulic ones? 700 1986

Here's the problem: solid motor mounts on the 86 745 station wagon wear fast and transmit vibration to the frame. Would it be OK to replace the solid ones with hydraulic ones like on an 89 740? Even if I had to replace the mounting brackets.
